Hometown Hero Program

The City of Celina is proud to offer a Hometown Hero program. This program will offer a way for the City to welcome home our service personnel who are returning home from active duty. The program consists of public recognition at a City Council meeting for the returning serviceman/woman in attendance, a brief description of their service, and the presentation of a certificate of achievement from the Mayor. If you or a family member are returning home from active duty and would like to be recognized as a Hometown Hero, please complete the below application. Once your application is received, you will be contacted by our Life Connected department to schedule a date to receive your Hometown Hero recognition.
