Junior Police Academy

The Junior Police Academy allows youth enrolled in Celina ISD grades 6-8 to experience law enforcement firsthand, offering a fun and interactive training program modeled after actual police recruit training. The Junior Police Academy covers many aspects of law enforcement with classroom instruction, hands-on training, scenarios, and more!

Students will learn the basic operations of a police department and explore career options in criminal justice while learning alongside the Celina Police Department.

In June of 2022, Celina Police Department kicked off the first-ever Celina Junior Police Academy. Students were involved in interactive scenarios that included patrol operations, crime scene investigation, special response team operations, drone usage, and much more.
