Celina Parks and Recreation

The Celina Parks Department is committed to maintaining Celina parks facilities to the highest standards so that we may preserve our park assets for future generations. We strive to maintain the highest quality baseball fields, soccer fields, and playground equipment in the area. A clean, well maintained and safe parks system is our goal and highest priority.

High School Summer Camps & Lessons Opportunity

The High School Summer sport camp schedule has been released.  Additionally, Coach Coleman of the Varsity Softball team will be available for lessons over Summer break.  Information about both can be found below.


LESSONS

COACH COLEMAN -- 4 years of college playing experience and 2 years of professional experience

As CHS Varsity Softball Coach...

* 2011 -- 3A state champs
* 2009 -- 3A state runner-ups
* 2006 -- 2A state semi-finals
* 7 consecutive district championships

SOFTBALL LESSONS -- hitting, fielding and throwing

BASEBALL LESSONS -- pitching and hitting

$45 for an hour lesson

$25 for a 30 min lesson

Use Caution Around Pond at OCP

Please use caution around the pond at Old Celina Park.  Snakes have been spotted around the perimeter, and steps have been taken to reduce their movement.  Due to the size of our facility, these actions are limited.   Pest control experts have informed us that their activity levels will not decrease until the weather gets hotter.  Again, please use caution around the pond at Old Celina Park.


Adult Softball Registration is OPEN

Team registration is now open for Celina Adult Softball League: Summer 2013.  Mens and Coed divisions will be offered.  All of the details are in the registration document below.  Deadline to register is noon on Memorial Day!  Season starts Tuesday, June 4th for coed and Thursday June 6th for mens.
