The city is currently taking applications for volunteers to fill two openings on advisory committees. The committees include Planning and Zoning and Board of Adjustments. The City of Celina, Texas, is accepting Proposals from qualified Professional Service firms for the purpose of entering into a consulting services agreement to provide a cost of service and rate study of its current water and wastewater utility systems using FY 2012 information.  This includes an independent assessment and evaluation of the City's existing rates and charges in relation to the cost of service to provide water and wastewater, as well as potential charges that might either be added for specific services and/or discounts.
