Scheduled Preston Road Closures - 5/22/13 Update

Preston Road Scheduled Closures:

Please note the updated dates. TxDOT has scheduled to close sections of Preston Road so that the new southbound lanes may be installed. Beginning JuneĀ 9th a small segment will be closed and completed each night for six consecutive nights between 7PM and 6AM. The closure will take place in five manageable segments with a goal of completing one section per night. The final segment is expected to be completed on June 14th. A detour route with appropriate signage will be in place, and can also be accessed at the link below. For more information please contact Public Works at 972-382-2682.

Memorial Day

The Celina Area Heritage Association and the City of Celina would like to invite you to "Celebrate Freedom" on Memorial Day.

The event will take place Monday, May 27th, 2013 from 9:00am to 12:00pm on the Historic Downtown Square to honor the military service of the men & women of this nation.  The speaker at the event will be Purple Heart recipient Brian Fleming.

Also, be sure to stop by the Museum (211 W. Pecan) to see their military display.

The May meeting has been moved to TUESDAY, May 14.

Starting in June, all council meetings from now on will be on the second Tuesday of every month.
