The Celina Police Department has received an award from the National Association of Town Watch for the organization and involvement of its community in the National Night Out Event on October 13th, 2009.
Celina ranked 13th in the nation and 1st in Texas for cities with populations less than 15,000.
"Even though the weather wasn't ideal, our community still came together in record numbers to show wupport for National Night Out. We couldn't be more proud to say we are #1 in Texas. Our community is stronger than ever and we plan to continue this trend for years to come." says Lt. Paul Jones.
A special thanks to the Celina Fire Department and the Celina community for their support and involvement in another successful National Night Out.
